We discussed this in skype but if you didn't see, this a baseball/life rp. We'll be rping our player's carriers with the Arizona Diamondbacks. You can get traded, sent down to the minors, but only if ya suck or request it xD.  We'll be also rping our people's interactions of course.

Starting Pitcher: Bo Hamilton

VS. Iowa Cubes

Dustin was warming up with Bo, talking to him about the new pitcher. "We'll see. I mean, all we know he may not be read." Dustin nodded and continued to throw to his pitcher.

Out on the field Andrew is throwing the ball with the third baseman for a warm-up. He's chewing his gum to calm his nerves, as he was never a fan of the pressure that playing at home placed on him. The manager of the team, after having talked to most of the players while warming up, walks over to Andrew and interupts his practice.

"How are you holding up? Ready to play some ball?", he inquires.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I've got it under control.", Andrew responds.
"Alright then. Let's show this fans some good ball!", he says as he walks away.

Eren was excited to be part of this baseball team experience! As he's warming up, Eren has been drinking a lot of Gatorade and even he finished one gallon of Gatorade! The manager of the team comes over at Eren and he said,

"WHY IN THE HELL ARE DRINKING A LOT OF GATORADE? IT'S PRACTICE TIME BOY!"
Eren responded, "Oh I'm sorry boss, I mean manager. I'm really thirsty and all!"
"Alright, no excuses. It's practice time for you! Go and get your bat!" said the Manager.
"Yes, manager!" said Eren.

Eren was used to be good at swinging the ball during practice, but he still struggles at big games like this. However, Eren is more confident that he could simply swing and get a single, double, triple, or even a Home Run!

Austin could only look on the field from the bullpen area with disgust as he believes he should have been the Opening Day starter.

" Tch, can't coach see the potential I have? I'm much better than Bo...." he mumbled. " I am too good to just be third in this starting rotation...." He only sighed and thought to himself " Eh, I guess when I'm in the staff ace in the majors I won't care that I was a third starter in triple A..."

After warming up with the pitcher, he headed to home plate for the ceremonial first pitch. "Please turn your attention to the pitching mound." Dustin stood behind home plate as the announcer talked about the person throwing the pitch. After the pitch was thrown, the announcer said "Thank you, Mayor of Reno. "

Dustin stood up and shuck the the hand of the mayor. "Bring us a win, Dustin." I smiled and walked to the dugout.

"Alright all-star, you're up," the manager says encouragingly to Andrew.

Andrew grabs his bat and slowly walks up the plate with the thunderous cheering of the home crowd behind him.

"In the batter's box is number 27, Andreeeeeeew Graaaaaay!" The announcer calls as Andrew steps into the box and practices his swing. He stares down the pitcher for the opposing team. Not a bad pitcher, he's heard. Then, all of a sudden, the first pitch is released. Strike One.

"Dammit," Andrew mutters in frustration. He'd not like to start his fiest at bat with a strikeout. Andrew prepares himself for the next pitches. Ball, Ball, then he misses contact on one. It's now 2-2, and Andrew has no more room for error. The next pitch leaves the pitcher and is perfect to smack right out of the park. Andrew swings full force, but comes out short and makes little contact. The ball shoots forward to left field and is caught by left fielder for a lineout. The crowd claps sympathetically as Andrew walks back to the dugout. He gets a few pats on the back.

"Sorry about that guys...," he says dissapointedly.

Dustin tapped Andrew on the back as he returned to the dugout. "Better luck next time man." He watched his teammates get out fairly quickly. He sighed and thought I hooe this isn't one of these seasons. When his team was on defense it went fairly good. The first batter flew out to the left, the second struck out, the last grounded out. The crowd clapped for the good defense of the first inning.

"Okay, not the best start but we did well on defense. Lets pick it up the next inning!" The manger was more energetic than usual. Maybe it's just the opening day fewer.

"Next up at bat, the catcher, Dustiiiiin O'REIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIHL!"

Show time! He cheered himself on. The first pitch was a ball, 1-0. Dustin lets the second go too but a called strike.


(T.V Announcer). "Here comes the 1-1 pitch. O'Reihl takes a swing and that's heading to the hole for a base hit! Good start to the inning for the Aces with a lead of single"

Austin was fairly silent during the top half of the first inning due to there not being much action. He decided to scout the players to see how they did on defense, and he was impressed by not only the defense, but he was impressed by Bo's pitching as well.

"Hmm... If he has innings like that constantly then I guess I can see why he's the ace..." he thought.

Then after Eren's hit he was very impressed at the middle of the order's production, and he even found himself cheering, which is something he doesn't do often.

"Yeah! I hope I'll get this run support this early when I'm pitching!" he said.

(RNG gave the NPC after Rawr a walk and the other a basehit. Bases loaded. Davis up)

(I have a perfect set-up for after the game is over. I won't enter the RP until after this current game is over.)

"Whew... This is my chance to redeem myself..." Andrew mutters as he walks to the plate, listening to everyone encouraging him on his second attempt. As he situates himself and practices his swing, he takes a good look at the pitcher.

"I know how this guy works, if I can fool him, I can hit it..." Andrew thinks.

The pitcher releases the first ball, and Andrew swings. He just misses it by an inch. The next pitch moves so fast it catches Andrew looking. 0-2.

"Alright, it's now or never... Time to wait him out." Andrew says anxiously.

The next three pitches just miss and Andrew watches them fly by. 3-2.

"And now Andrew has a full plate. He's warming up and the pitcher is winding... Here comes the 3-2 pitch!" The announcer screams.

The ball shoots right down the middle and Andrew swings with everything he's got and feels contact. He looks over and sees the ball flying back to the wall and the left fielder heading for it. Andrew sprints down the bases and looks just in time to see the ball bounce of the wall and the left fielder miss it. He stops at second right as the throw comes in, and three runs are scored.

As the crowd roars in excitement over the hit and the 5-0 score, Andrew celebrates his wonderful two base hit.
