I thought in my mind "Wow! Really?"
"Think people will stop bulling Dustin soon?" I asked them

I smiled and mouthed the words "Wanna go eat? Em, is coming?" I felt Emily curl into him as they thanked the preformers and what not.

Both of them shuck their head and said "I think they won't, they want him to you."

I was surprised when they said that and replied "Is this town known for bulling?"

She nodded and then said "Well not really but people have always bullied him. He is always sad when he comes home from school. I feel guilty because people treat me much better then him."

"Of course Ami! It's because you're beautiful!" I said to Ami smiling "Think Dustin will learn to just ignore them?"

I nodded and mouthed the word "Sure!" to him.

I smile and leave the hall. One arm around Emily I wave Eliza over to us.

She flushed again and said a little irritated "You think he hasen't tried that yet?"

I walked to Dustin and said "Great performance, Dustin!"

"Oh yea maybe Dustin tryied doing that" I said to Ami in a low voice "Maybe if we all help Dustin by sticking together they will stop"

I smiled and said "Thanks Eliza." Emily looked at Eliza and said softly "Sorry for picking on you. Now I know how you felt."

Her dad looks and said "Well we tried but he won't talk about it. He is well you know"

"But Dustin needs more support then just one person. If the both of us stick up for Dustin then those bullies won't even stand a chance!" I said to Ami determined

She looked at him and said "He always ignores us when we talk about it. He fells ashamed and then there is that girl."

"It's ok, Emily, I forgive you!" I said as I smiled at her.

I kept losing my hopes with everything I tried and said to them "I don't know then this is now harder then it looks"

She smiles and said "Thanks, Eliza...." I smile and kiss Emily and then say "You know, let's go to that good Japaness place downtown. I'm treating!"


She said "I don't think he likes doing this but I don't know. He is my brother and I think he......" She broke off "kill himself...." Her dad finished.

"Ok then, Dustin!" I said as I smiled at him.

"Maybe he needs some confidence? Some detemination? Some hope?" I said trying to think what would make Dustin happier

I smiled as we got a table and I said to the waiter "Three tees" He nodded and left.

She smiled and said "Well he has nothing of that. I don't know....."

"ARG!!!" I said angerly "This is harder then moving to a new city and keeping a secret at the same time!"

I started to play with my hair for a couple of minutes and then asked "How have you been, Emily?"

She looked at Eliza and lied "Pretty well, yourself?" I ordered some cake and asked if they put the necklace I was to give to Emily in her food.

Both nod in agreement and her dad said "I worry about his mental health. I think he does self-harm."

"I'm ok! My wounds have healed a lot and now I feel a lot better" I said as I smiled.

She smiled and said "Well that's good.....I'm sorry again....."

"Oh, it's ok, its just that I had Deja Vu from what happened at the other school, but I've seen you've changed and I'm proud of that!" I said.

She smiled and said "Eh yup. I can't agree more." I went to the restroom for a while and came back. I then said "Well, looks like no more hard feelings between ya two"
