Mafia #2: Lynch or be lynched

So the way I see right now is that if the cop claims, he will be watched by the watcher, but what about the hooker? Can the hooker just ignore the watcher and role block the cop since the hooker can do nothing to the watcher? After all, from what knowledge I have, the hooker can only role block the cop on this set up. I personally don't feel comfortable with the cop claiming right now because he may end up becoming useless for town if this does happen. I may very well not be getting something, though. If that's the case, feel free to tell me what I'm not getting.

Austin the hooker role blocks the cop which doesnt allow him to investigate BUT BUT BUT the watcher watches him and sees the hooker which gives us a guilty to lynch. Watcher should only claim if they found a lead or instead if the cop is still alive pm the cop what info you found and then have cop lead the lynch so the watcher wouldnt be known
